How can we help?

Email us with questions, problems reading a report, or ideas. Because we can't see your data, please describe the issue. If you want to include a screenshot or a line from a report, remove personal details first.

Reading reports

A value wasn't found

Open the report in Documents, scroll to Recognized text, fix any misread text and tap Find values in this text again. You can also tap Add a biomarker to pick any of 276 tests by body system and type the value yourself.

A number or unit looks wrong

Values the app wasn't sure about are marked "Check this value". Tap the value to correct it, and edit the range to match the one printed on your report.

Getting the best scan

Entering results by hand

In Documents, tap Enter results manually (or + on the Results screen), choose tests from the list, then type each value and range.

Results and insights

Why does Results show tests from different dates?

Results shows the latest reading of every biomarker you've saved, whichever report it came from. Use the menu under "Your results" to see one report on its own.

Apple Intelligence summary isn't showing

It needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. Otherwise BloodWork shows its built-in summary.

Switching units

Profile › Settings › Units switches between mg/dL and mmol/L. Your stored values don't change.

Turning off haptics

Your data

Moving to a new iPhone

BloodWork data moves with your iPhone backup or Quick Start transfer. You can also export all data as a file from Profile › Settings › Export all data.

Deleting your data

Profile › Privacy & data › Delete everything removes all reports, scans, results and notes. Deleting the app also removes everything. We hold no copy, so deleted data can't be recovered.

More in the Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Restoring a purchase

On a new device or after reinstalling, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore Purchases in the app.

Cancelling a subscription

Go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone, choose BloodWork and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds and billing

Apple handles all payments, so refunds and billing questions go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't see your payment details or issue refunds ourselves, but we're happy to help with anything else.

Requirements

iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later. Scanning needs a device camera. Apple Intelligence features need a supported device with Apple Intelligence turned on.
