Terms of Use
BloodWork helps you read and keep track of your blood test results. It is not a doctor and doesn't replace one.
Agreement
By downloading or using BloodWork, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies to apps from the App Store. If these terms and the standard EULA conflict, the standard EULA applies.
Price and payments
BloodWork is a paid app. The current price, and any in-app purchases or subscriptions, are shown on the App Store before you buy. Payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account.
- Subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Free trials, if offered, turn into a paid subscription when they end unless you cancel before then. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use Restore Purchases to get access back with the same Apple Account.
- We may change prices in the future. Apple notifies you before a price change affects an existing subscription, and asks for your consent where the law requires it.
If Family Sharing is turned on, purchases may be shared with your family group where Apple and the purchase allow it.
Not medical advice
BloodWork is a personal record-keeping and education tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and its zones, ranges, habits, patterns and summaries are general information, not medical advice.
- Always rely on your doctor and on the reference ranges printed by your laboratory.
- Don't start, stop or change any medication or supplement because of something in the app.
- If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
Accuracy of readings
BloodWork reads documents automatically with on-device text recognition and, on supported devices, Apple Intelligence. Automatic reading can make mistakes, such as a misread digit, a wrong unit or a missed line. The app asks you to check every value against your report before saving it, and you are responsible for confirming that saved values are correct. Default reference ranges are general adult values and may not match your laboratory, age, sex or situation.
Your data
Your data belongs to you and stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your device's security, your passcode and your backups. We cannot recover data that is deleted from your device.
Acceptable use
Use BloodWork for your own records or, with their permission, for someone you care for. Don't try to reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the app.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or stop offering features at any time. Some features need a recent version of iOS or a device that supports Apple Intelligence.
Limitation of liability
BloodWork is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on information in the app, or for any loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
